BASIC FACTS - UEM (Union Européenne de Motocyclisme) is the sanctioning body for the UEM European Drag Bike Championship, meaning it is the UEM that handle technical rules, other regulations and sporting code connected with the UEM European Drag Bike Championship. - Mr Keith Bartlett (UK based) is the promoter and commercial rights holder of this championship. - Speedgroup is assigned by Mr Bartlett as assistant administrator in handling championship registration and can in addition often answer practical questions regarding the events and championship. Contact info can be found at the bottom of the page UEM:s WEBSITE The UEM Drag Bike Sporting and technical regulations, calendar, points system and more can be found at http://www.uem-moto.eu/index.php/sport/road-racing--drag-bike/drag-bike UEM EUROPEAN DRAG BIKE CHAMPIONSHIP 2012 - REGISTRATION Applicable for drivers in the following bike categories: UEM Top Fuel Bike (TF) UEM Super Twin Bike (ST) UEM Pro Stock Bike (PB) To be eligible for any awards in the UEM European Drag Bike Championship (series or event) a Championship registration fee has to be paid each year by each driver to the Championship administration at the latest 30 days before taking part in any Championship round. This single fee is in the sum of €600 incl. VAT applicable*. The amount covers all rounds of the UEM Drag Bike Championship (there are no options currently to pay for registration for part of the championship events). The UEM Drag Bike Championship registration fee is in addition to all normal race entry fees. Registration for the UEM European Drag Bike Championship is administered by Speedgroup. From 2012 it is handled via a new online based system located at www.dragracing.eu After registering your drivers profile you will find the UEM Championship registration option listed under "events", payment is handled through the system with the options VISA/Mastercard/Invoice (=bank transfer). Drivers within Sweden also have the option to pay via direct payment through the bank systems of SEB, Handelsbanken and Nordea. EVENT ENTRY FEE UEM CATEGORIES The Event Entry Fee for the UEM categories is set to €260/event. The event entry fee is paid to each organizer. If the organizer is accepting entries after the official closing date of entries (stated in the invitation), the entry fee paid will be doubled. If the organizer receives the inscription fee after the closing date of entries, the paid fee will be doubled. Please note, Electricity is not included in the entry fee. Ticket allocation for each entry in the UEM categories is set to 10 - One ticket for the rider, 9 tickets for the crew and in addition two vehicles passes for each entry. UEM COMPETITION LICENSE Riders must be in possession of a valid license issued by their own federation and a UEM championship licence (one year or one event) or from another CONU. All provided by the riders FMN. If no CONU licence can be obtained, An FIM International Road Race licence is accepted in 2012. To indicate which class an bike belongs to the competition number is accompanied by an abbreviation code for the class Top Fuel Bike - TF Super Twin Bike - ST Pro Stock Bike - PB HOW TO REQUEST AN UEM COMPETITION NUMBER Email to Peder Eneroth peder.eneroth@svemo.se he is co-ordinator of UEM start numbers for all UEM classes and nationalities (also incl the UEM Super Street Bike). Your name, class and nationality is needed for the competition number registration. Normally You may have wishes for a specific competition number, provided it is not already taken and provided you are a registered rider (having paid the UEM European Drag Bike Championship fee). TOP 10 CONTESTANT COMPETITION NUMBERS Please note, In the UEM European Drag Bike Championship all "top 10" drivers shall use a number from 1-10 corresponding to his/her finishing position in the same Championship the previous year (no application is used for this procedure, the championship points lists are the base for top 10 competition numbers). It is only applicable for the same class, meaning riders that change class cannot use a top 10 start number from another class based on last years position. Permanent competition numbers are allocated to the riders of each class in the previous year’s Championship as follows: Pro Stock Bike PB1 – PB10 Top Fuel Bike TF1 – TF10 Super Twin Bike ST1 – ST10 UEM LOGOTYPE & EMBROIDERY FILE A high-resoluted UEM logo can be requested via email from asa.kinnemar@speedgroup.eu In addition Speedgroup have the UEM logo available as an embroidery file that can be used for UEM riders /teams for embroidery on official team clothing. It is provided free of charge to UEM registered championship teams and in Tajima format (.DST), which is one of the most common file formats for embroidery machines.
