Classes European Drag Racing
Series EDRS Basics: Handicap racing based on a driver’s personally-chosen dial-in,
which may be changed between rounds. The first car to cross the finish
line without going quicker than its dial-in is the
winner. Qualifying positions are measured against dial-ins. The closer
to the driver’s chosen dial-in (but not any quicker), the higher the
driver’s position in the ladder. Super Pro ET (SPET): 8.99 sec. or quicker over 1/4 mile Pro ET (PET):
9.00 sec. or slower over 1/4 mile. Time brackets may vary
between
countries, but the split will always be at 9.00 sec. for events included
in the EDRS Series. Please check what is applicable before racing
abroad.

Rules for Pro ET (PET) apply to EDRS European Drag Racing Events in Sweden
Pro ET is open to full-bodied cars with working doors, Funny Cars, Altereds and Dragsters.
Handicap
racing based on a driver’s personally-chosen dial-in, which may be
changed between rounds. The first car to cross the finish line without
going quicker than its dial-in is the winner.
Dial-in may be set
between 9.00-14.99 seconds (1/4 mile) or 5.75-9.60 seconds (1/8 mile).
An exception is made for J15 and J16 according to Swedish rules.
Qualifying
positions are measured against dial-ins. The closer to the driver’s
chosen dial-in (but not any quicker), the higher the driver’s position
in the qualifying list.
Dial-in
should be clearly visible on the
vehicle before entering the
bleach-box.
If a qualification or elimination round is not completed owing to
rain-out, local curfew, etc., the entire round will be cancelled from
the final result.
Type of ladder: Sportsman,
all-run.
Organizer can limit the size of the ladder, if needed. This should be
advised in the invitation, entry form or at latest in the supplemental
regulations at the track. If limited, alternates should be used
for possible
no-shows.
Lane choice: Organizer´s choice. If not advised on the invitation
or at latest in the supplemental regulations at the track, higher
qualifier chooses lane throughout eliminations.
Throttle-stops
and
delay boxes may be carried on vehicles, but their use is strictly
prohibited in Pro
ET.

ETs up to 0.5 sec. over the index (9.49 / 6.24) are acceptable for
qualification, but dial-in can not be set quicker than the class index.

Altereds
och Dragsters. Körs i bracketform med personligt valt dial-in
mellan 9,00 – 14,99 sek (1/4 mile) resp. 5,75- 9,60 (1/8 mile).
Undantaget är J15 och J16 som deltar enl. sina resp. regelverk.
Kvalificering
sker genom körning mot eget valt, rörligt, dial-in. Ju närmare dial-in,
desto högre kvalplats. Kvaltider snabbare än dial-in rangordnas så att
den som är närmast sitt dial-in, fyller på kvallistan efter de som kört
långsammare än sitt dial-in.
Dial-in
skall tydligt framgå på
bilen före att bilen går in i
i bleach-boxen.
Om en kvalrunda inte kan fullföljas p.g.a. regn, tidsbrist etc. så
stryks hela den
omgången.
Kvalet körs som all-in.
Stegtyp: Sportsman.
Arrangör
kan begränsa stegens storlek vid behov. Detta skall framgå i
tävlingsinbjudan eller allra senast i tilläggsreglerna som publiceras
vid banan
.
Reserver:
Ev. reserver står upplinade bredvid uppliningskön och fyller i tur och
ordning på ev. luckor som uppstår i elimineringsstegen.
Banval:
Arrangörens val. Om inte annat uppges i tävlingsinbjudan eller allra
senast i tilläggsreglerna som publiceras vid banan, gäller bästa
kvalplats genom hela elimineringen.
Säkerhet för fordon och förare besiktas enl. bilens prestanda med hänvisning till ET-reglementet.
Trottel-stop
och delayboxar får finnas monterade i fordonen, men får ej användas i
Pro
ET.

mile).
